Linas Petkevicius

Linas Petkevičius, PhD, is a Senior Researcher at Vilnius University, where he heads the Software Engineering Department and teaches deep learning and quantum computing. With over 10 years of experience in deep learning and neural networks, he specializes in outlier detection, machine learning, computer vision, medical image processing, and natural language processing, and leads several research projects. As President of the Artificial Intelligence Association of Lithuania and a Board Member of the European AI Forum, he represents the AI ecosystem at both national and EU levels. He has served as a local chair for major events such as EEML Summer School, ECML PKDD, and ICANN.
