Alessandro Saffiotti

Alessandro is a full professor of Computer Science at the University of Örebro, Sweden, as well as an adjunct professor at the University of Bologna, Italy. He has been active for more than 30 years in the area of Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially in the integration of AI and Robotics: you may say “how to give a mind to a body, or a body to a mind”! He published about 200 scientific papers, counting more than 11,000 citations, and has been actively involved in many European research initiatives, including 18 EU projects.
